1st Annual Ride for Recovery NL Saturday August 23,  a fun-loving riding campaign to raise awareness and to celebrate the very active and vibrant recovery community that exists  in Eastern Newfoundland. 
The ride will be departing from the parking lot of the recovery centre on 80 Charter Ave in St. John's, heading on up as far as the Ferryland Downs, then riding back to the Triangle Social Centre at 51 Liverpool Avenue in St. John's for an evening of music and food, a few guest speakers, and above all - fellowship. 
Registration is at 1pm at 80 Charter Ave on the day of the ride. Registration is only $10.00, which covers the cost of a plate of supper and incidentals.
