Targa Road Closures

Targa Newfoundland Route and Temporary Road Closures

From Saturday, Sept. 14 to Thursday, Sept. 19, rally teams taking part in Targa Newfoundland will race from eastern to central Newfoundland and back again covering about 2000 km. For the safety of teams and spectators, sections of road will be closed to regular traffic for limited periods for the rally stages. Closed areas will be signed and taped off. Marshals will be posted along the sections for safety and crowd control. Most road closures are under two hours to minimize inconvenience to area residents.
