Church of the Ascension, 58 Smallwood Drive,  is hosting Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 14 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Breakfast will include eggs, bacon, bologna, pancakes, toast, juice, tea, and coffee and will be served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. There will be a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus for the kids from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The cost per ticket is $10 per adult; $5 for children  up to 12;  children under 3 eat free. Tickets can be purchased at the church office at 58 Smallwood Drive, Mt. Pearl, Monday to Friday between 9 and noon.

Coastal Sounds Choir Association is happy to announce our Annual Christmas Concert and Christmas Cantata featuring Christmas Carols and Memorable Melodies, will be held on Sunday December 15 at 3 P.M., At Holy Cross Church in Holyrood, General Admission $30, featuring Coastal Sounds Choir, Aurora Women's Choir and the Annual Christmas Cantata, Tickets are available from Taylor's Fish, and Vegetable Market in Kelligrews or from Choir Members.  Food and Monetary donations accepted for the Local Food Bank.  This is a scent free event.

150 RCAFA (North Atlantic) Wing Will be having their New Year's Eve Gala on Tuesday, December 31 at Building 565, Roosevelt Ave., Pleasantville. Dinner will be served at 6:30 for 7:30 pm.
They will be serving Appetizers, Top Sirloin Roast of Beef, Yorkshire Pudding, and all the Trimmings, Dessert, Tea or Coffee. Music is by D.J. Larry Smallwood. There will be Party Favors and Prizes.
