All Saints Flower Service will be held at Dunns Hill Road Cemetery on Sunday, July 28th,

Starting at 2pm, and the Church Road Cemetery Service will be Sunday August 4th,

Starting at 2pm.  If the scheduled Sunday has inclement weather, the service will be

moved to the next evening  starting at 7pm.

Paw2Love is having an adoption event this Sunday at Pet Zone on O’Leary Ave from 1-4 pm.  Come out and meet our available dogs!

The Canadian Red Cross is in need of volunteers to support their Emergency Management Program, the Canadian Red Cross assist families that are displaced from their homes in the event of a fire or other disaster.

The Bell Aliant Pioneers will have space available Belairdirect parking lot on Factory Lane (main lot) and bottom lot on Forest Rd all within walking distance to the lake.

All day parking for $10 from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with all proceeds going back into the community. Everyone who parks gets a free ticket on a Adirondack Chair valued at $200.

Garden party on Saturday August 10 from 1-6pm at 77 Harbourview Drive in Hillview.  Free admission, cash bbq and games.  It's a fundraiser for the Hillview recreation and beautification corporation.  Featuring an open mic outdoor stage, washer tournament, raffle table, games, prizes and bbq.

The Schizophrenia Society of Newfoundland and Labrador  will be offering a 3-hour hybrid (Zoom/In-Person) workshop on Schizophrenia Education and Awareness on September 17 from 1p-4p. The in-person portion of this event will be held in Corner Brook at the Centre for Innovation and Technology.
