The SSVP Carbonear Food Bank and NLHS have partnered to offer bi-weekly information sessions at our food bank. The next session is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th, from 1 PM to 3 PM. Staff from the CBN Family Care Team and Seniors NL will be present to answer questions and connect attendees with resources.

This opportunity is completely free, safe, and confidential. The staff members are very knowledgeable and are eager to assist!

The annual Salmonid Association of Eastern Newfoundland (SAEN) Dinner and Auction fundraiser will take now place on Thursday, May 22nd, starting at 6:00 pm at the Knights of Columbus, 49 St. Clare Avenue. The East Coast Trail Association (ECTA)has launched its flagship fundraising event, the 2025 Trail Raiser Community Hike, set for International Trails Day on 
Saturday, June 7th in Torbay. This year's event aims to raise $100,000 toward critical trail maintenance 
and operations—the essential work that keeps the 336-kilometer coastal trail system safe and open for all 
to enjoy.
