1. Eligibility:
1.1. Coast 101.1 Radio contests are open to legal residents of Canada who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of Coast 101.1 Radio and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or any other entities involved in the development or administration of the Contests are not eligible to participate.
2. Entry Period:
2.1. Contests have a begin date and begin local time and an end date and end local time (the "Entry Period").
2.2. Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be considered.
2.3. Local time observes the Newfoundland Standard (NT) time zone.
3. How to Enter:
3.1. During the Entry Period, participants can enter the Contests by calling the designated phone number, sending a text message, filling out an online form, etc. Each participant may only submit one entry.
3.2. Some contests may require specific entry requirements, such as providing a specific keyword, answering a trivia question, or following the radio station's social media accounts.
4. Prize:
4.1. The prize for the specific contests are outlined on their respective contest pages contained on this website. No substitution, exchange, or cash equivalent for the prize will be allowed.
4.2. The winner is responsible for all taxes, fees, and any other costs associated with claiming and using the prize.
5. Winner Selection:
5.1. The winner will be selected by Coast 101.1 Radio in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place at a Drawing Date and Drawing Time (local time) as outlined on their respective contest pages contained on this website.
5.2. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Winner Notification:
6.1. The potential winner will be notified via phone call or email or social media message within 48 hours after the drawing.
6.2. The potential winner must respond within a reasonable period to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within a reasonable time frame, an alternate winner may be selected.
7. General Conditions:
7.1. By entering the Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Coast 101.1 Radio and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Contests or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
7.2. Coast 101.1 Radio reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that violates these Terms and Conditions or is suspected of fraud or tampering with the Contest.
8. Publicity:
8.1. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow Coast 101.1 Radio to use their name, likeness, voice, and biographical information for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. Privacy:
9.1. Any personal information provided by participants in connection with the Contests will be used in accordance with Coast 101.1 Radio's Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law:
10.1. Contests and these Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any dispute arising under or in connection with the Contests shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Newfoundland & Labrador.
