The first Wessex Society Lecture of the season will be held on Wednesday, October 14, at 7:30 pm. The speaker is David Paddon, who will give a presentation about his parents, Dr. And Mrs. Anthony Paddon, their life and times in Labrador. Dr. Paddon served as the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland from 1981 to 1986.
The lecture will be held at the CNA Paul Pope Centre on Strawberry Marsh Road. Please use the East entrance to the building. Parking is available. The lecture will also be offered via Zoom.
