The next meeting of the National Association of Federal Retirees Avalon-Burin Branch will take place on Wednesday, September 16, at 2:00 PM at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 1, 57 Blackmarsh Road in St. John’s. 

The Guest Speaker will be an Energy Specialist from NL Hydro who  will provide details on the energy saving Take Charge Program a joint partnership of NL Power and NL Hydro.

This program provides information on rebate programs and provides tips on how to reduce your power bill.

Tea and coffee  will be available.

Tickets will also be on sale for the annual Steak/Chicken  Barbeque and Dance to be held on September 25 at the Freemasons Hall on Mt. Carson Ave. in Mt. Pearl .

Tickets $40.00 each and guests are welcome.
