The Newfoundland Horticultural Society will be holding its monthly meeting at St. David’s on Elizabeth Avenue, on Tuesday, September 1st at 8pm. Doors open at 7:30. Back in May of this year, Todd Boland and a group of the Friends of the (Botanical) Garden embarked on a tour of The Gardens of South Scotland. On Tuesday night Todd will be our guide and will take us on a photographic tour of the gardens they visited, many that formed the basis of our own Botanical Garden culture. Todd Boland is well know to all of us and his photographic skills are well exhibited in his multiple publications. This is an event that you won’t want to miss. Bring a friend and stay for a refreshment and some garden talk after. Non members are welcome.
