The Newfound Riders are pleased to announce the 23rd Annual Constable Sam Jeffers Memorial Motorcycle Ride, taking place on September 19, 2026.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Peace and Police Officers’ Monument, Confederation Building East Parking Lot, with motorcycles departing at 10:00 a.m. under police escort.
The ride will travel west via the Trans-Canada Highway to Whitbourne before continuing through Blaketown, Dildo, New Harbour and across the New Harbour Barrens to Constable Jeffers’ Memorial near the Town Hall in Carbonear before riding through his hometown of Freshwater.
Proceeds from the event, along with donations received, will be directed toward the continued maintenance and preservation of police and peace officer memorials through the Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Association and the Constable Sam Jeffers Memorial.
The Newfound Riders welcome all motorcyclists and supporters to participate in this meaningful annual tradition.
