-For profit events

-Straight lottery/gaming events (Bingo, Chase The Ace, Poker) where the only or main reason to attend is participation in the lottery/gaming
-Events with a gaming element as a part of the program (ie: 50-50 draw at the dinner/dance) and not the sole reason to attend may be accepted.

The 37 Combat Engineer Regiment will conduct a ceremonial 21-gun salute at Queen’s Battery, Signal Hill National Historic Site in St. John’s at 12 p.m. on May 18th.
Members of the public are welcome to observe from a safe distance and are advised that the ceremony will involve loud artillery fire but employ only blank ammunition. As a safety precaution, access to Queen’s Battery will be temporarily restricted during the salute.

Gower Community Band’s upcoming Downtown Pops concert, taking place on Sunday, May 24th at 3:00PM at Gower Street United Church in support of the Community Food Sharing Association. The SPCA Baccalieu Trail invites you to a fabulous Ladies’ Night on Friday, May 29th!
