The East Coast Trail Association (ECTA)has launched its flagship fundraising event, the 2025 Trail Raiser Community Hike, set for International Trails Day on 
Saturday, June 7th in Torbay. This year's event aims to raise $100,000 toward critical trail maintenance 
and operations—the essential work that keeps the 336-kilometer coastal trail system safe and open for all 
to enjoy. 
The East Coast Trail Association is calling on all hikers, trail runners, nature lovers, and outdoor 
enthusiasts to:

● Start fundraising now by reaching out to family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues 
● Form a team with your hiking buddies, coworkers, or community group
