It’s a PD Day at the following schools;

Larkhall Academy
Macdonald Drive Elementary
Vanier Elementary


St. Kevin's Junior High students will be dismissed at 1:00 for District Strategic Planning Process. Busses will leave the parking lot at 1:12.


Holy Heart will also be closing early at 1:45 pm for a Strategic Planning Session.


St. Peter's Primary will be dismissing students at 1:30.


Gonzaga High will be dismissing early at 1:45. Busses will do their regular runs.


Meeting for parents of grade 9 students who will be attending Holy Heart in September 2017 will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, Feb 21st at Holy Heart Theatre.

Eligibility:
--Coast 101.1 contests are open to individuals that hold permanent residence in the province of Newfoundland And Labrador and are within the terrestrial broadcast contour of CKSJ-FM
--Those ineligible are:
-Coast Broadcasting Ltd. employees (including those that have left employment of Coast Broadcasting Ltd within the past two years), persons that reside in the same household as Coast Broadcasting Ltd. employees, and immediate family members of Coast Broadcasting Ltd. employees.
-Coast Prize Sponsors for the contest, sponsor employees, persons that reside in the same household as Coast Prize Sponsor employees and immediate family members of Coast Prize sponsor employees.
-Individuals that reside outside of the CKSJ-FM terrestrial broadcast contour (ie. Those listening from a geographical distance through internet streaming).
-Those having previously participated in Match The Sandals contest in 2017.  Only one Match The Sandals contest play per person per game board if a prize is won or not.
-Contest participants must be 21 years of age or older.
-A skill testing question will be posed where required by law

Contest Period:
--Contest is open from January 30, 2017 to February 24, 2017 OR at a time when the available prizes have been exhausted
--Contest will air 3 times per day Monday Friday at different specific times in the ranges of 6am-9am, 9am 3pm, and 3pm-6pm Newfoundland Time AND/OR subsequent times broadcast on Coast 101.1

Contest Participation:
--Those that choose to participate in a Coast contest will participate in a live or taped to live contest play via telephone at a time broadcast on Coast 101.1.  No purchase is necessary
--An eligible contest participant is randomly selected in the method described for that contest occasion
--Should a be caller # contest be played, the selection of the participant is to be considered a random selection of those that choose to phone.  There is no skill required.
--When prompted over the air to do so, the participant must personally place the phone call to 754-1011, proxy will not be accepted and any misrepresentation will violate the participants eligibility.
-Consideration will be given to a participants use of a proxy sitting directly with the participant in the case of a participant being unable to respond verbally due to a physical impediment.
--Having successfully been chosen for participation, the contest participant will be asked reveal items hidden behind virtual number tiles.  If the participant reveals two Sandals in one contest play, that individual is awarded the grand prize after verification of full eligibility.  If the participant does not reveal the two Sandals, their contest play is concluded and a consolation prize may or may not be awarded.  After two tiles are revealed, whatever the result, the contest play ends.

Prizes:
-Sandals Resorts is a Luxury Included resort destination. Therefore the provided prize(s) will include seven nights of luxurious accommodations (one (1) room, double occupancy), all meals, unlimited premium brand beverages, daily & nightly entertainment, all land and water sports, including scuba diving (for certified divers), Wi-Fi in all rooms and public areas, gratuities, and transfers to and from the resort designated airport
-Prize must be redeemed for travel between April 1, 2017 December 15, 2017 and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. No extension will be given after the prize has expired. If the prize is not redeemed, the prize is void.
-Telephone calls, Red Lane Spa treatments and services, specialty dining (i.e. private candlelight dinners), tours & excursions, inter-island transportation, SCUBA certification courses, island departure taxes and purchases made at the Sandals Specialty Shops are not included.
-Sandals Resorts reserves the right to relocate any confirmed prizewinner from their resort of
choice to an alternate resort within our chain based upon availability of space for the secured travel dates.
-The prize is subject to space availability and selected blackout dates.  Reservations may not be
confirmed until 30 days prior to the selected travel date.
Other Items:
--Coast Contest participants agree to the following:
-An understanding that they are participating in a radio contest which will involve their verbal responses broadcast over public airwaves
-Their name, general area of residence, voice (recorded or live), and likeness may be used by Coast Broadcasting Ltd and Coast Contest Sponsors in promotional material surrounding the contest
-All prizes are to be accepted as awarded and are not transferable without the express permission of Coast Broadcasting Ltd and/or Coast Contest Sponsors
-Coast Broadcasting Ltd, Sandals Resorts, Air Canada Vacations and contest sponsors are not responsible for travel rescheduling/shortening of trip due to either weather related or airline disruptions.  This includes denial of entry to any international port.  It is the contest winners responsibility to carry a valid passport for travel.
-The prizewinner(s), his/her heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby waive and release any and all rights, claims, and causes of action whatsoever he/she may have against the Prize Provider now or in the future arising out of his/her participation in the Promotion and/or acceptance and utilization of the Prize that he/she has won, or the exercise of any rights granted herein.
-Coast Broadcasting Ltd is not responsible for technical errors during the execution of a Coast Contest
-Any restitution due to a technical error is at the sole discretion of Coast Broadcasting Ltd and Match The Sandals.


Coast 101.1 General Contest Rules And Regulations

-Coast Prize Sponsors for the contest, sponsor employees, persons that reside in the same household as Coast Prize Sponsor employees, and immediate family members of Coast Prize sponsor employees.
-Individuals that reside outside of the CKSJ-FM terrestrial broadcast contour (ie. Those listening from a geographical distance through internet streaming).
-Those having previously won a prize, and those residing in the same household of a prize winner, in the past 30 days.
-Only one Coast Prize winner per household every 30 days
-Contest participants under the age of 18 may require to have a prize won awarded in the name of a legal guardian.
-Note for some prizes, a requirement of the participant being 19 or older will be confirmed during the contest play.

Contest Participation:

-To ensure proper identification of winners, we are unable to mail prizes.
-Prizes not claimed within 30 days are to be considered forfeited by the prize winner.
-Those found ineligible after the fact while claiming a prize in person may not receive their prize.
